Guenther to race with Dragon in Paris

Dragon Racing will once again field Maximilian Guenther for the Paris E-Prix next weekend.

The German rookie competed in the first three rounds of the 2018-19 Formula E season, before being replaced in Mexico and China by Felipe Nasr.

Guenther returned to the race seat for the Rome E-Prix last weekend, where he and Dragon team-mate Jose Maria Lopez made it into Super Pole. The race proved more challenging and Guenther fought in the mid-field before running out of energy on the final lap.

He confirmed in a tweet that he will make his fifth Formula E appearance in Paris.

Gunther has so far been unable to score points in FE, though the 21-year-old has produced some strong performances.

In just his second race in the championship, Guenther came close to taking points, eventually finishing 12th in Marrakesh. The following race weekend, he was running inside the points late in the race before a mechanical failure brought an end to his Santiago E-Prix.
