Prost victorious at Serre Chevalier

Nico Prost led a DA Racing 1-2 as he claimed his maiden Andros e-Trophy victory of the season.

The Renault driver made a strong start from pole position while team-mate Jean-Baptiste Dubourg challenged second place starter Yann Ehrlacher off the line.

As Prost extended his lead, Dubourg and Ehrlacher ran side by side for a number of corners before Dubourg managed to get his nose ahead and claim second.

Dubourg was able to close the gap to his team-mate, but Prost left no opportunity for him to challenge for the lead.

The former Renault e.dams driver crossed the line 2.826s ahead of Dubourg to take his first win of the season.

Dubourg’s second place puts him at the top of the championship standings with just two rounds remaining.

After falling back to third, Ehrlacher spent the remainder of the race defending hard against Andreas Bakkerud and Olivier Panis. Bakkerud ran nose to tail with Ehrlacher for a number of laps before Panis was able to find a way through. Ehrlacher kept them both at bay to take third.

Panis finished fourth, ahead of Bakkerud and Giordano.

Aurelien Panis started the day at the top of the championship standings, but was unable to qualify in the six and competed in the second final. Starting second, he kept the pressure on pole sitter Nathaneal Berthon, but couldn’t find a way past the Peugeot driver and had to settle for second.

Franck Lagorce and Olivier Pernaut completed the order.
