Rob LomasLucas di Grassi set the pace in Free Practice 3 ahead of the second Berlin E-Prix to take place on the Reverse Tempelhof circuit.
The Brazilian driver set a 1m06.732s to top the timesheets but it was a competitive session, with the top six covered by less than a tenth of a second.
Andre Lotterer was second for Porsche Formula E ahead of BMW i Andretti Autosport’s Maximillian Guenther, Jagua Racing’s Mitch Evans, Alex Sims in the other BMW and Antonio Felix Da Costa in the DS Techeetah.
Sims will be going into qualifying knowing he has a 20-place grid drop as the BMW team need to change his battery ahead of the race.

Da Costa had made a mistake when on his 250kw lap when he locked up on the way into Turn 6. Sergio Sette Camara was seventh for Dragon with the top ten rounded out by DS Techeetah’s Jean-Eric Vergne, Nissan e.dams’s Oliver Rowland and Stoffel Vandoorne in the Mercedes EQ Formula E.
Nico Mueller set the 11th quickest time for Dragon and just edged out Mahindra’s Jerome d’Ambrosio, Venturi’s Edoardo Mortara, Rene Rast’s Audi and the Envision Virgin pairng of Robin Frijns and Sam Bird.
The top-20 was rounded out by Nyck de Vries in the other Mercedes, Porsche’s Neel Jani, James Calado in the Jaguar and Alex Lynn in the Mahindra.
Oliver Turvey was 21st in the fastest of the two NIOs with Nissan’s Sebastien Buemi and Venturi Racing’s Felipe Massa splitting Turvey and his teammate Daniel Abt.
