Dubourg takes pole for Isola race 1

DA Racing’s Jean-Baptiste Dubourg claimed pole position for the first race of the weekend at Isola 2000.

Dubourg topped the first qualifying session with a time of 2m16.969s.

The quickest time over a single lap went to Sebastian Loeb Racing driver Jeremy Sarhy. Sarhy usually competes as an Elite driver, but has made the step up to the Elite Pro class for the weekend.

Sarhy continued to show good pace with the quickest lap in the Super Pole, which puts him second on the grid.

Sebastian Loeb Racing’s Quentin Giordano topped the second, slower qualifying session, but could only manage fifth quickest in the Super Pole session and drops to third on the grid.

Nico Prost takes fourth ahead of reigning champion Aurelien Panis and Benjamin Riviere.

Outside the top six, Olivier Pernaut starts from pole for the second final, alongside Nathaneal Berthon.

Franck Lagorce and Yann Ehrlacher completed the top 10.
