Berthon takes second win of the season at Lans en Vercors

Nathaneal Berthon picked up his second Andros eTrophy victory of the season in the season race of the weekend.

Berthon’s dominant performance in qualifying put him on pole for the Super Final, and he was untouchable throughout the five lap race.

While second place starter Nico Prost was concerned with keeping Yann Ehrlacher from coming through, Berthon was able to get the jump on the rest of the field and pull away.

Prost didn’t spend much time battling Ehrlacher, who soon had Benjamin Riviere and Aurelien Panis to contend with, but was unable to close the gap to Berthon.

Taking maximum points away from the day, Berthon was able to close the gap to the top three in the championship standings but remains fourth.

Ehrlacher spent most of the race with Riviere and Panis on his tail but held onto the position to take third.

Riviere finished fourth ahead of Panis and Olivier Pernaut.

Despite championship leader Jean-Baptiste Dubourg not making it through to the Super Final, he retained his lead at the top of the championship standings with a victory in the second of the finals.

Dubourg dominanted the race to finish more than five seconds ahead of second place Franck Lagorce. He lies just 25 points ahead of Ehrlacher in the championship standings.

Quentin Giordano held off Louie Gervoson for third in the race while Enzo Ide completed the order.
