Aegerter lowers the benchmark in FP2

Dominique Aegerter leads the way in the second MotoE free practice session of the weekend.

He and Fermin Aldeguer spent much of the session swapping times at the top of the order, but it would be the Dynavolt Intact GP rider who would come out on top by just one-hundredth of a second.

Aegerter ended the session with a 1m35.697s lap time, 0.677s quicker than Eric Granado managed in FP1.

Granado would only manage third quickest. He set his quickest lap of the session early on, initially placing second behind Aldeguer but dropping to P3 as Aegerter lowered the benchmark.

Matteo Ferrari also set his fastest lap of the session early on and would end the day 0.212s off the pace.

Lukas Tulovic and Miquel Pons took sixth and seventh ahead of Jordi Torres, who once again outpaced championship leader Alessandro Zaccone. Zaccone would only manage P10, behind Xavier Cardelus and Hikari Okubo.
