The calendar for the 2022-23 Formula E World Championship has been revealed at the second meeting of the FIA World Motor Sport Council this year.
The calendar features 10 confirmed host countries and three rounds yet to be determined.
All races will take place in 2023, beginning in January in Mexico City and ending with a double header in London.
Two countries are set to make their E-Prix debuts next season. Hyderabad will host the first Indian E-Prix in February, the fourth round of the championship after the Mexico opener and a double header in Saudi Arabia. After two “to be determined” rounds, Brazil will host the seventh race of the season in March.
Berlin will once again welcome Formula E as the only city to have been on the calendar since its inaugural season. Monaco will be visited in early May before a double header event in Seoul, which is set to host its first E-Prix in August at the end of this season.
Indonesia will follow with a double header event, before another “to be determined” round and double headers in Rome and London.

There are a few noticable absences from the 2022-23 calendar.
Formula E had intended to return to Paris next season, revealing in 2021 that the French city would be on the calendar biannually. Also absent is New York, which has hosted FE every year since it joined the calendar in 2017, with the exception of the Covid-19 struck 2019-20 season.
Further updates are expected later this year.
Testing will take place in Valencia between 11 and 17th December.
“The season nine calendar of the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship is our most expanisve and dynamic racing schedule yet, and I cannot wait to get started,” said series co-founder Alberto Longo.
“We will continue to push the international boundaries of all-electric street racing with the E-Prix in Hyderabad and Sao Paulo, while maintaining the hugely popular races in Diriyah, Mexico City, Berlin, Monaco, Rome and London with Jakarta and Seoul now established on the calendar.
“We are also working hard to include Cape Town and a race in the USA when the provisional calendar is updated later this year.”
Few other decisions regarding Formula E were made at the WMS council. Technical regulations will be updated to better suit the Gen 3 car, and minor edits have been made to the financial regulations to account for inflation.
