TWR Techeetah unveil throwback livery

TWR Techeetah have unveiled a new livery for their Jaguar I-Pace eTrophy programme with a throwback livery.

The livery is a tribute to the infamous Silk Cut sponsored Jaguar XKR-9 from 1988 which won that years running of the Le Mans 24 Hours as well as the World Sports Prototype Championship.

The new livery will be run by Stefan Radzinski at Mexico City for the second round of the I-Pace eTrophy with the Canadian driver currently sixth in the Pro Class.

Team principal Keith Smout was pleased with how it turned out saying: “We’re incredibly proud of our collaboration with TWR and this livery is synonymous with their engineering excellence and success across motorsport categories.

“Together, we’re pushing to continue this history of winning into the all-electric era, as we push to become the inaugural champions of the Jaguar I-Pace eTrophy.

“We know that there is a real affinity for retro liveries amongst fans, can’t wait to see the response that our cars get at this weekend’s race.”
