Olivier Panis top of the order ahead of Isola 2000 race 2

Olivier Panis stars in qualifying for the second day at Isola 2000.

The former Formula 1 driver is only set to compete in one round of the 2020-21 Andros eTrophy, and will spend the rest of the season in a Team Manager capacity.

Panis was quickest in the first qualifying session, completing his three laps almost two seconds quicker than the next closest driver.

He topped the times again in Super Pole, setting a 46.349s lap to put himself 1.2s clear of second place Jeremy Sarhy.

Franck Lagorce, who topped the second qualifying session, will line up second on the grid, ahead of Sarhy and Christophe Ferrier.

Yann Ehrlacher and Nathaneal Berthon completed the top six.

Missing from the Super Pole were points leader Jean-Baptiste Dubourg and reigning champion Aurelien Panis. Panis finished sixth in both of the qualifying sessions, while Dubourg could only manage fifth in the second session.

Dubourg ended qualifying seventh overall, putting him at the front of the grid for the second final later today, with Panis along side him.
