Granado back on top in FP2

Eric Granado topped a competitive second free practice session at Le Mans ahead of the MotoE French Grand Prix.

Five different riders topped the order over the course of the session, but it was Granado who came out on top with a 1m43.909s time. The One Energy Racing rider was the only man to set a time sub 1m44s, with Torress in P2 finishing the session 0.136s off his pace.

Matteo Ferrari set the pace early in the session, but quickly dropped down the order as others found improvements.

Torres and Lukas Tulovic swapped positions at the top for a time, gradually lowering the benchmark before Granado jumped up the order late in the session. Neither could match Granado’s time but continued to improve. Torres took second while Tulovic ended the session P3.

Championship leader Alessandro Zaccone briefly went fastest but ended the session fourth quickest ahead of Dominique Aegerter and Fermin Aldeguer.

Miquel Pons, who had a difficult FP1 session, took seventh, as Hikari Okubo, Mattia Casadei, and Yonny Hernandez completed the top 10.
