Pernaut converts pole to race win

Olivier Pernaut converted pole position to victory in the second Andros eTrophy. Super Final of the weekend.

Pernaut was untouchable throughout the six lap race, getting a good start to pull away from second laced Dorian Boccolacci.

The gap between the two gradually increased over the course of the race, until Pernaut took the chequered flag 2.052s ahead of Boccolacci.

Further back, it was an intense battle between Aurelien Panis and Yann Ehrlacher.

After almost being passed by Jean-Baptiste Dubourg on the opening lap, Ehrlacher put the pressure on Panis. Panis defended well, and the attacks from Ehrlacher almost opened the door for Dubourg to close back in.

Panis was eventually able to put some breathing room between himself and Ehrlacher to finish third, while Ehrlacher held off Dubourg for fourth.

Sylvian Pussier and Florian Bernardi completed the order.

In the Final, it was a lights to flag victory for Nico Prost. The DA Racing driver had a large gap to the rest of the field on the opening lap, while Pierre Louis Loubet battled to keep the rest of the field behind him.

Loubet managed to shake Louis Gervoson and was closing in on Prost in the closing stages of the race. Prost finished 1.279s ahead of Loubet to take the victory.

The result leaves Panis top of the championship standings with one more race remaining this weekend.
