Fittipaldi and Tincknell to test for Jaguar in Marrakesh

Ahead of this month’s test in Marrakesh, Jaguar Racing announced Pietro Fittipaldi and Harry Tincknell as the racers to drive the Gen2 car on Moroccan soil.

For the second year in a row, a test will be held after the Marrakesh E-Prix. Jaguar Racing have announced Brazil’s Fittipaldi and Britain’s Tincknell, who had previously taken part in last year’s Marrakesh Rookie Test.

The Brazilian will make his second appearance with Jaguar Racing, as he drove one of the team’s Gen1 cars at the Circuit International Automobile Moulay El Hassan.

Tincknell, on the other hand, had driven for NIO last year. The Brit was later announced as the Chinese team’s Simulator Development Driver.

Now, both drivers will have the chance to drive the Gen2 cars among other drivers taking part in the test – some of whom had previously driven in the test held after the Ad Diriyah E-Prix.

The third edition of the Marrakesh E-Prix will be held on January 11, with the test taking place the following day. With the two previous editions having had lots of action, this is a race Formula E fans should look forward to with the Gen2 cars racing each.
