Revised circuit layout unveiled for Mexico City

Formula E’s return to Mexico city will see the series competing on a revised track layout.

The first change comes at Turn 3 where the circuit will turn left at the exit of the oval into a new sequence of corners by utilising a link road.

There will be a short straight heading to a right-hand kink at Turn 4 before a hairpin at Turn 5 where it will rejoin the Grand Prix circuit for Turns 6 & 7.

The old chicane at Turns 3, 4 & 5 has been removed as has the chicane at Turns 14, 15 & 16 meaning that the drivers will be taking the Peraltada in its entirety.

The changes mean that the circuit length has been brought up to 2.606km from the old 2.092km length.

The loop inside the Foro Sol and the opening chicane remain unchanged.
