Lagorce on top in Andorra qualifying

Franck Lagorce tops qualifying for day two of the Andros eTrophy in Andorra.

Lagorce, racing the Andros Sport AS01, topped the quicker of the two qualifying sessions ahead of Jean-Baptiste Dubourg and Oivier Pernaut.

He couldn’t keep the pace in the Super Pole shoot out, setting slowest lap in the session, but his earlier performance was enough to put him on pole for the second race of the weekend in Andorra.

Dubourg set the quickest time in the Super Pole session, putting himself second on the grid ahead of Yann Ehrlacher, who struggled in the final stage of qualifying.

Reigning champion Aurelian Panis could only manage fourth, ahead of Olivier Pernaut and Christophe Ferrier.

Sebastian Loeb Racing’s Quentin Giordano was the quickest of those not to make it into super pole and will start on pole for the second final. Nico Prost lines up alongside him, with Nathaneal Berthon and Benjamin Riviere completing the top 10.
