Mahindra’s Oliver Rowland was fastest in the second practice session ahead of the Diriyah E-Prix.
The British driver set his lap right at the end of the session, with a 1:08.957 being the fastest time so far this weekend as the track grips up.
Sam Bird was second fastest for Jaguar, with Jake Dennis setting the third quickest time with a 1:09.000.
The top-five was rounded out by Antonio Felix da Costa in the DS Techeetah and Robin Frijns in the Envision.
Pascal Wehrlein was the sixth quickest in the session for Porsche, just ahead of Jean-Eric Vergne in the other DS Techeetah and Nick Cassidy in the second Envision entry.
The top-ten was rounded out by Nissan’s Maximillian Guenther and Andretti’s Oliver Askew, the American driver being the fastest of the rookies.
