Ferrier fastest in Andorra qualifying

Christophe Ferrier tops qualifying for the first day of Andros eTrophy action in Andorra.

The Team DRP driver topped the second qualifying session of the day with a total time of 2m17.657s. The time was more than a second quicker than that set by Yann Ehrlacher in the opening qualifying session.

The two were joined by Jean-Baptiste Dubourg, Olivier Pernaut, Aurelien Panis and Dorian Boccolacci in the Super Pole shoot out.

Dubourg set the pace early with a lap time of 45.805s, which would not be beat for the remainder of the session. Ferrier slotted into second after his lap, but dripped down the order as other drivers completed their Super Pole lap. He ended the session P3, which was enough to take pole for the Super Final.

Dubourg will line up alongside him, jumping ahead of Ehrlacher who was slowest in the Super Pole.

Boccolacci took fourth quickest ahead of Panis and Pernaut.

Nathaneal Berthon narrowly missed out on a Super Pole spot and qualified seventh overall. He starts on pole for the second Final. Adrian Fourmaux, Yvan Muller and Jimmy Clairet completed the top 10.
