Fourmaux on pole for Andros finale

Adrian Fourmaux takes pole position for the final race of the 2022-23 Andros eTrophy season.

The Team DRP driver dominated qualifying, going fastest in both qualifying sessions and the Super Pole.

Jean-Baptiste Dubourg will start second, while Aurelien Panis missed out on a spot in the Super Pole by qualifying 10th overall. However, the Team Sainteloc Racing driver enteres the final round at Super Besse 39 points clear at the top of the standings, a lead Dorian Boccolacci can no longer overcome.

Fourmaux set the pace early in both sessions. In both ases, the time would be unbeatable.

A time of 2m25.189s in Q2 was the quickest time of the day. Dubourg came closest to beating the Team DRP driver, taking second in the faster qualifying session.

Nathaneal Berthon was second quickest in Q1.

Yann Ehrlacher, Benoit Treluyer and Boccolacci joined the trio in the Super Pole.

Fourmaux solidified his starting position with the best time in Super Pole. Boccolacci was second quickest in the session, 0.2s off the time set by Fourmaux, but his earlier performance means he only starts fifth in the race.

Dubourg will start second, ahead of Berthon and Ehrlacher.

Outside the top six, Jimmy Clairet will start the second final from pole position after qualifying seventh overall. Christophe Ferrier, Olivier Pernaut and Panis complete the top 10.
