Mahindra Racing

Mahindra Racing is a clear example that along with the growth of the series, the teams grow too. Its first season in Formula E was a learning experience for the Indian team. In Season 2, the team’s very first podium finish came thanks to Nick Heidfeld’s stellar performance in Beijing.

In Season 3, young star Felix Rosenqvist teamed up with the German, and the duo took Mahindra to places the team had never been before. The first ever pole position came in just the second round of Season 3 in Marrakesh; and the team clinched victory in Berlin Race 1. A big haul of podiums and pole positions completed the statistics of the outfit’s best season in the series so far.

The Indian squad finished fourth in the Teams’ Championship standings in Season 4 with the same driver line-up.

Ahead of Season 5, Mahindra Racing announced the signings of Jerome d’Ambrosio and Pascal Wehrlein to form an all-new driver line-up, although Indycar-bound Felix Rosenqvist will make a one-off return to the team in the opening round in Saudi Arabia driving in Wehrlein’s place.
