Tom Dillmann has been linked to the Formula E world since Season 3, when he replaced Maro Engel at Venturi at the Paris E-Prix, due to the German’s DTM commitments. The Frenchman later joined the fully-electric championship for the remainder of the season, replacing Techeetah-bound Stéphane Sarrazin.
He took part in some Season 4 races for the Monegasque team too, as Edoardo Mortara was fulfilling his DTM commitments with Mercedes.
For Season 5, the Frenchman was given a full-time seat with NIO, where he will race with Britain’s Oliver Turvey.
