Evans wins as Jimenez stays at the top of the championship

Simon Evans claimed the win in the Jaguar I-PACE eTROPHY although his title rival Sergio Jimenez still leads the championship.

Evans capitalised on Caca Bueno missing the attack mode activation on the ninth lap of the race to take the lead.

Bueno did try to take it back on attack mode although he was only able to pull alongside Evans

Bueno did re-take the lead when Evans had attack mode although the Kiwi retook the leat on the run into Turn 1.

Bueno then ceded second place to Jimenez on the final lap to help his teammate stay at the top of the championship.

Nick Foster finished fourth after a quiet race ahead of Alice Powell and Gregory Segers in sixth.

Paul Spooner took the win in the Pro-Am class with seventh place ahead of teammate Fahad Algosaibi with Takuma Aoki and Adalberto Baptista rounding out the top ten.

Jessica Hawkins was 11th in the first of the guest cars with Sven Foerster rounding out the field in 12th.
