Boccolacci tops qualifying for Andros opener

Dorian Boccolacci takes pole position for the opening Andros eTrophy race of the 2022-23 season.

Boccolacci topped the second qualifying session, going faster than anyone with a combined time of 2m30.971s over his three laps.

The Sebastien Loeb Racing driver then went third fastest in the Super Pole session, scoring enough qualifying points to put him at the front for the Super Final.

Reigning champion Jean-Baptiste Dubourg was quickest in the Super Pole session. He was second quickest in the first qualifying session of the season, behind SP Competition driver Nathaneal Berthon. The six qualifying points earned in the Super Pole put him third in the final qualifying classification, behind Berthon who was second quickest in the Super Pole.

Yavn Muller lines up fourth with Aurelien Panis and Olivier Pernaut making up the back row of the grid for the Super Final.

Anthony Pelfrene will start from the front in the second Final, having just missed out on a spot in the Super Final. Yann Ehrlacher, Sebastien Loeb and Christophe Ferrier complete the top 10.
