Boccolacci takes fourth pole at Lans en Vercors

Dorian Boccolacci takes pole position for the first race of the weekend at Lans en Vercors as the 2022-23 Andros eTrophy begins its penultimate weekend.

Boccolacci will start the Super Final alongside title rival Aurelien Panis, who topped the Super Pole shoot out.

Panis was quickest in the first qualifying session, with a time of 2m16.176s over three laps. That time was quickly met in the second session, though, with four drivers going quicker.

Yann Ehrlacher was the first driver to go sub-2m16s as he topped the order. Nathaneal Berthon then knocked him off the top spot before Boccolacci’s lap of 2m15.798s ended the session.

The three were joined in the Super Pole session by Panis, Jean-Baptiste Dubourg and Olivier Pernaut.

Boccolacci was quickest after his run in Super Pole, but was then knocked down to P2 by Panis’ lap of 44.954s. It wouldn’t be enough to secure pole position, though.

Starting third on the grid will be Berthon, ahead of Ehrlacher, Dubourg and Pernaut.

Jimmy Clairet will start from the front of the grid for the second Final. Clairet was sixth quickest in the faster of the two groups, and just 0.6s slower than Pernaut. He placed seventh overall.

Yvan Muller, Jerome Grosset-Janin and Christophe Ferrier completed the top 10.
