Jean-Éric Vergne took Formula E by storm on his arrival to the series, setting pole position in his first ever race. The Frenchman went on to score three pole positions and two podiums for Andretti before making the move to DS Virgin Racing for season 2.
He took one pole and two podiums his second season in the series, but that first win still eluded him. For season 3, Vergne moved to Chinese team TECHEETAH, where he was able to score a total of 117 points, four podium finishes, and his long-awaited win in the second race of the season finale in Montreal.
