Alexander Sims is one of a number of new debutants to Formula E as the new era begins as he claims a race seat at BMW I Andretti Autosport.
Sims is an experienced single-seater driver and EV advocate. He has driven in F3 Euroseries, GP3 and FIA F3 Europe, claiming podiums in all three series. Most recently he has been in IMSA for BMW, claiming a victory in the 2017 Petit Le Mans. He will be alongside Antonio Felix da Costa in 2018/19
