Antonio Felix da Costa started his Formula E career a little late, making his debut at the Putrajaya ePrix, the second round of the inaugural season. It would take just three attempts for da Costa to take his first, and so far only, victory in the series – taking the win from eighth on the grid in Buenos Aires.
For Season 3 of Formula E, da Costa partnered with Robin Frijns at Amlin Andretti. It was a disappointing season for the team, with Amlin Andretti scoring 34 points across the season and only scoring in five of 12 races; da Costa himself scored all 10 of his points in the opening race.
Having been a BMW factory driver since his DTM days, da Costa was announced as one of the drivers the German manufacturer would have for its official entry in Season 5.
