Unlike his team-mate Sam Bird, Lynn has only competed in a handful of Formula E races. Deputising for José María López, who had to miss the two New York ePrixs due to a clash with the World Endurance Championship, he put his car on pole for the first race of the weekend.
The DS Virgin Racing car was a quick car all weekend – taking both pole positions (the second coming from Bird on the Sunday) and both wins (also courtesy of Bird). Unfortunately for Lynn, he was unable to capitalise on his car’s pace thanks to two mechanical issues.
Lynn stepped up to a full-time race seat for the 2017/18 season, replacing López.
In 2018/19, he replaced Piquet at Jaguar Racing.
