Mitch Evans joined the new Jaguar Racing team for the start of Formula E’s third season in 2016/17. A race winner in GP2, Evans showed his talent in his debut season with a fourth place in the Mexico City ePrix.
The 12 points picked up in Mexico started off Evans’ points scoring for the season, as well as the team’s. While Jaguar finished bottom of the Teams’ Championship, Evans finished 14th in the drivers’ championship and 17 points ahead of team-mate Adam Carroll.
In Season 4, he scored a podium finish at the Hong Kong E-Prix, and went on to finish within the Top 10 several times. Another highlight of his second Formula E campaign, is the pole position he scored in Zürich, which Evans sadly could not seal with a win on Swiss soil.
