Lotterer fastest in the second practice in Berlin

Andre Lotterer proved that home advantage really does help by going fastest in the second free practice session for DS Techeetah.
The German driver set a 1m07.401s to go fastest by almost three-tenths of a second, from the longtime pacesetter of Venturi’s Edoardo Mortara.
Just behind them, after a late flurry of 250kw laps was Alex Sims for BMW i Andretti Motorsport, with Sebastien Buemi in fourth for Nissan and Mitch Evans was fifth fastest for Jaguar.
Felipe Massa continued his strong run of form with the sixth fastest time for Venturi, ahead of Antonio Felix da Costa in the second BMW, while Oliver Rowland was eighth in the other Nissan.
Alex Lynn was ninth fastest in the other Jaguar, with the top ten rounded out by Daniel Abt for Audi Sport Abt Schaeffler as he aims to go for back-to-back wins at Templehofer Feld.
Pascal Wehrlein was 11th fastest for Mahindra and was followed by the Audi-powered duo of Robin Frijns and Lucas di Grassi, for both Envision Virgin Racing and Audi respectively. Wehrlein’s Mahindra teammate Jerome d’Ambrosio was 14th.
The NIO’s were 15th and 16th respectively, with Oliver Turvey ending up ahead of Tom Dillmann. They were followed in 17th by Jean-Eric Vergne in the other DS Techeetah entry.
Stoffel Vandoorne and Gary Paffett were 18th and 19th respectively for HWA and Maximillian Guenther rounded out the top 20 for Dragon Racing.
Sam Bird was 21st for Virgin whilst his former teammate, Jose Maria Lopez rounded out the field in 22nd.
