Rowland tops the last free practice session of the season

Nissan e.dams driver Oliver Rownland finished on top of the standings in the last free practice ahead of the season finale.

The Brit climbed on top of the standings in the last minutes of the session.

The session had been dominated by Maximilian Guenther for most of its 30-minute duration, and the German would go on to finish in second place behind Rowland. 

Venturi’s Norman Nato came in third place, while Stoffel Vandoorne followed suit in fourth. Jean-Eric Vergne finished just behind them in fifth place. 

Championship leader Nyck de Vries saw the chequered flag from the sixth position in the standings, after topping the third free practice session earlier today.

The top 10 was completed by Jake Dennis in seventh place, yesterday’s race winner Lucas di Grassi in the eighth position, Nick Cassidy in ninth, and Pascal Wehrlein in 10th place. 

Edoardo Mortara, who had a strong session and disputed the lead to Guenther, ultimately dropped down the timings to finish in P14.
