Berthon leads the way after Andros day one

Nathaneal Berthon leads the way after the first day of action for the 2023-24 Andros eTrophy.

Berthon topped both qualifying sessions to take pole for the Super Final, but missed out on the race win to Aurelien Panis.

Berthon started the race from pole position ahead of Panis, who was second in the quicker of the two qualifying sessions. JB Dubourg in third was second in the second practice session.

The trio spent the first half of the six-lap race together, before Panis found a way through in the final laps. Dubourg followed him through to relegate Berthon to third, 1.634s behind Panis at the chequered flag.

Sebastien Loeb was fourth on the grid after setting the fastest time in the Super Pole, but immediately came under attack from Julien Febreau. Febreau found a way through to take second and put in a defensive drive to keep Loeb behind.

Olivier Pernaut came through late on to take fifth ahead of Loeb.

In the Final, Sylvian Pussier led from start to finish. He had Yann Ehrlacher on his tail throughout the race, with Dorian Boccolacci and Christophe Ferrier a little further behind.
