Sebastian Loeb Racing returns to Andros for second season

Sebastian Loeb Racing returns for a second season in the Andros e-Trophy with a two-car six-driver line-up.

The team – owned by the nine-time WRC champion – made its Andros debut in the 2019-20 season and enjoyed success in both the Elite Pro and Elite class.

As in last year, Sebastian Loeb will compete in two of the six rounds that make up the season – the Andorra weekend on December 18th – 19th and the Val Thornes round, the rearranged date of which is still to be announced.

Quentin Giordano will again take the remaining events.

“It’s a great team line-up for the start of the season,” said Loeb. “The performance of the electric on snow was excellent last season and I had a lot of fun driving.

“The team learned from this new programme so we will try to continue to progress on the ice with ambition.

“I will be there in Andorra just before joining more sandy tracks!”

The two Elite Pro drivers will share the car with two Elite drivers. Jeremy Sarhy returns after winning the Elite title with the team last year, while 16-year-old Caeser Gazeau will make history as the youngest driver to compete in the series when he makes his debut later this year.

“I’m really happy and excited to know that in a few weeks I will be on the ice in the Andros Trophy,” said Gazeau.

“Taking part in such a legendary event with a team like Sebastien Loeb Racing and alongside Sebastien Loeb will make the experience even more beautiful and rewarding for my career.

“I’m really looking forward to discovering this new universe in one month in Andorra!”.

Sebastien Loeb Racing will field a second car, with the Elite Pro and Elite pairing of Louis Gervoson and Margot Laffite.
