Dubourg on top at Serre Chevalier

Jean-Baptiste Dubourg takes pole again for the opening Andros eTrophy race of the weekend at Serre Chevalier.

Dubourg jumped to the top of the times at the end of the second qualifying session, going 0.1s quicker than the best time from the first qualifying, set by Aurelien Panis.

He was quickest again in Super Pole, lapping in 50.855s, more than two tenths of a second quicker than the next fastest driver.

Yann Ehrlacher was second quickest in all three qualifying sessions, including Super Pole. It wasn’t quite enough to edge ahead of Aurelien Panis in points and the reigning champion will start on the front row of the grid alongside Dubourg.

Nico Prost was briefly fastest in Super Pole before being bumped down to third, and will start fourth overall ahead of Benjamin Riviere.

Sebastian Loeb Racing duo Quentin Giordano and Louis Gervoson took a fourth place finish each in the first two stages of qualifying. Gervoson earned the position in the faster of the two sessions, earning him a place in the Super Pole shootout. He starts sixth overall.

Giordano takes pole for the second final, ahead of Nathaneal Berthon and Franck Lagorce. Olivier Pernaut completes the top 10.
