Jimenez Dominates I-Pace Finale in New York

Jimenez Dominates IPACE Finale in New York

On the start, Sergio Jimenez lead from Caca Bueno, while Katherine Legge moved ahead of Simon Evans into third place.

Elsewhere, Bryan Sellers had a great opening lap and was up to seventh place.

Out in front, Jimenez began to open up a lead of two seconds, while Legge hassled Bueno for second place.

Sellers continued his march up the field, passing Yaqi Zhang for sixth position.

The American’s next target was Pro-Am leader Ahmed Bin-Khanen. On the run down to Turn 6, Sellers lunged down the inside to claim fifth place.

Then, with two and a half minutes remaining, Celia Martin came to a halt and brought out the yellow flag.

However, nothing was going to rain on Sergio Jimenez’s championship parade. The Brazilian managed the gap and claimed his second win of the weekend.

Caca Bueno held off Katherine Legge for second, with Simon Evans in fourth and Bryan Sellers an exceptional fifth.
